Bookiddo is a subscription book club for children aged 0 to 5. Each month we send you a bag containing exciting pre-loved and new books, hand selected by us based on your child’s interests. You can then choose which books you like to keep and which ones you like to return. You only pay for the books you decide to keep. We also charge a small subscription fee to partially cover the shipping and other logistic costs. It means you don't pay anything extra for deliveries and returns. It is all included in your subscription fee.

Books that your child loves: Every book in the bag will be selected based on your preferences and your child's interests.

Save the planet: Do you know that 320 million books end up in landfills each year? Reduce waste and paper usage with our circular subscription model. With Mission Re(ad)cyle, we aim to bring as many pre-loved books back into circulation. By subscribing to Bookiddo, you can save 80% of the CO2 emissions from buying new books.

Save space: Children outgrow books quickly. Create space in your child's library by sending us the books that your child no longer reads. We make sure they always have plenty of age-appropriate books that they love in their library!

Save money and time: You no longer need to search through hundreds of titles to find the right books for your child. We will take care of it. In addition, you can save 50% on the book price when you choose to keep the pre-loved books that we send you.

Register: Sign up with us and tell us all about your little reader, what they like and what you want them to read.

Enjoy: Up to six handpicked books will be dropped off at your doorstep every month.

Choose: You have a week to choose which books to keep and which to return – for free – and you will only pay for the ones you keep.

You only pay for the books that you keep each month, plus a small subscription fee of £6 per month. The subscription fee partially covers the shipping and other logistic costs. It means you don't pay anything extra for deliveries and returns. It is all included in your subscription fee. Also, note that you save 50% on the list price of pre-loved books that we send you.

In four simple steps:

1. Put the books that you want to return, along with any other used books that you wish to send us, in the bag.

2. Attach the pre-paid return label included in the bag on top of the label on the bag.

3. Seal the bag.

4. You can then either arrange a pick up by Royal Mail or drop it at your nearest Royal Mail store.

Each bag contains a mix of new and used books. The used books are in good to great condition. Some may have signs of use, but we would never send out anything that is less than what we’d be happy with ourselves.

Yes, you can. If the donated books are in good to great condition, we do our best to pass them on to a child who would love them. If not, we will pass them on to charities with whom we work. Only in rare conditions, such as when the books do not meet the necessary quality requirements to be circulated, we may end up recycling them.

We put significant effort into finding the right books for each child based on their interests. But, we may not always get it right. First, please send back all the books to us. Second, please tell us why your child didn't like the books using the options provided under each book on the My Bookiddo Bag page. We incorporate every piece of feedback that we receive. Third, if you think your child's interests have changed, you can always update their interests and topic preferences on the Preferences page. Finally, please feel free to email us at bookiddo@bookiddo.co.uk with any additional details that you think would help us pick better books for your child. We would greatly appreciate it.
